Annual communityatyanarayana vratham: the Valmiki Awasam organaises an annual community Satyanarayana vratham to spread awareness among not only children but also their parents and neighbors. It’s an annual even awaited and participated in large numbers this year 24 April 2006 a total of 84 Parents and 500 villagers of the children participated .
Vocational training programme May 2nd – 30th: A vocational training programme with a blend of financial management and enterprenuership with a touch of motivation was organized at Saidabad, for the 30 and odd children selected from the affection homes run by Seva Bharathi. The camp had professionals from Book binding, electricin, photo lamination, motor winding, cooler repairing etc.,
Meeting of incharges of affection homes 21st june 2006: A meeting of the incharges (Awasa Pramukh) of Affection homes in Manchiryal, jagityal and Bhinsa is held at Sri Valmiki Awasam to discuss and review the functioning of the three Affection homes as well as the scope for future. The meeting was chaired by A. Ramarao.

Sandeepani Avasam (14th -15th August2006): Dr. Sharath Chandra from Amma Trust has gifted the children two pairs of clothes and wished the children good luck. The affection home won first prize from the District collector at the annual Independence day Parade.
Shifting of Sandeepani Avasam (3rd September 2006): The Sandeepani Avasam located on temporary premises was shifted to a new and permanent campus near the Saraswathi Shishu Mandir, Mahaboob Nagar
Swamy Vivkananda Affection home for meritorious Students September 17th 2006: A preliminary entrance examination to select the meritorious but poor students from the villages in and around Ramayampet was conducted on 17th September and 15th October in which 168 students participated. A formal inauguration of the affection home was held on 27th October 2006.
Health Awareness campaign (Yoga): 27th-29th September 2006: in the auspices of Sri Siddi Ramulu a famous yoga master A three day health awareness camp conducted at Gollur. The madhava avasam students and 90 villagers participated in the programme where Health and Hygine, Diet and Pranayam was taught
Bhaktha Kannappa Gurukulam 2nd October 2006: Celabration of Gandhi Jayanthi and Dassera Festival in Palem Cheruvu Chechu Hamlet. The Children from the Gurukulam Along with Sri Mallikarjun participated in the Dassera celebrations with cultural activities the children enacted the episode from Mahabharatha Where Arjuna along with Pandavas hide there weapons on a Jammi Tree. The morning celebrations started at 9 am with Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations among the Chenchus with a short recollection awareness about Gandhiji.
Inauguration of a Vyasa awasam : Oct 2nd 2006: A new Home for poor and deserving Meritorious children was inaugurated by former DGP Ramulu and Dr Subrahmanyam at Warangal. The home would serve the poor aspiring children and give them a congenial atmosphere for their growth. A talent hunt was conducted with the help from the Govt high schools and their Headmasters were asked to refer deserving children to Seva bharathi.
Kishori Vikas TOTs training camp: Oct 9th – 24th: : A training programme for the volunteers TOTs (Tariners of tarinees) at Vaidehi ashramam was held in Soft toys, fabric designing and fashion designing as well as Organisational management and identifying the problems faced by the Women in Slums. The training was attended by 89 volunteers from all the slums of the twin cities.
Teachers training camp Oct 13th , 14th, 15th 2006: A 3 day training programme for the teachers working in the Seva bharathi run 4 primary schools was held at Madhava vidyalaya, Balaji nagar. Training was imparted in Child psychology, children and teaching methods, playful teaching
Project incharges meet Nov 5th, 6th: A project incharges meet was organized during the visit of the all India Service activities incharge Sri Sitaram ji Kedaliya. He addressed the project incharges and asked them to network and get involved as well as work along with other like minded agencies so that the work we do shall be useful ad reach the maximum people.
Full timers meet Dec 7th : A one day meet for the Full time volunteer of Seva Bharathi was organized at Madhava Awasam, Gollur and a wide range of issues including the problems faced by the volunteers and the need for taking up new ideas and new projects was discussed
Awareness campaign on voluntary work and need Jan 9th 2007: A series of presentations were given in the month of January starting with Patni computers on 9th and at various other Software companies to enlighten them on the activities of Seva bharathi and the need for more such activities. Problems such as the Child labour, illiteracy, poverty and destitutes were presented and discussed.
Vocational Training Camp January 10th -20th, 2007 :to inculcate essence of self reliance dignity of labour, Self confidence a 10 day Vocational training camp for the senior children of the affection home Madhava Avasam with trades ranging from Electrician, Screen Printing Book Binding scooter mechanic was held at Karunya Sindhu-Saidabad .
Rangoli Competitions for Chenchu Women : A Three day (13th -15th January 2007) Rangoli competitions were organized in all 36 Chenchu Hamlets and Prizes were distributed. The chenchus were very appreciative of the Mobile dispensary and the Gurukulam run by Seva bharathi
Raitu mitra Feb 2nd -3rd 2007: A two day Farmers meet was organized by Sanghamitra seva Samiti in association with Department of Agriculture Govt of AP and Seva Bharathi at Nandyal for 120 farmers from in and around Nandyal. The meet discussed the problems faced by the farmers and a host of beaurocrats were invited to address and redress their problems.
Bhaktha Kannapa Mobile dispensary for PTG Chenchus March 4th 2007: After repeated attempts by Seva Bharathi fail to move the authorities in Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The mobile Dispensary stopped functioning due to lack of funds. A US based charity IDRF has come forward to support the initiative. The Mobile dispensary is a much needed life line for 36 Chechu Hamlets. In the presence of Sri S.P.Y. Reddy (M.P-Nandyal) the dispensary is reinaugurated and Attached to Sri Sanghamithra Seva Samithi
