(under the auspices of Sevabharathi and Andhra Pradesh Upadhyaya Sangham)  

June 2005:   A talent search exam was conducted under the auspices of Sevabharathi & APUS Mahaboobnagar district units to explore the talented children amongst 2000 odd children studying in C,D sections of Residential Bridge School centers (RBCs) of Mahaboobnagar district. The results show and enlighten us about the positive side as well as the given situation existing in their lives.  

A sample survey of 2000 children shows us the way and we can have an insight into the lives 1 lakh children who are forced into child labour at a age where they are expected to play study and enjoy their beauty of childhood.  

Seva Bharathi wishes to start an initiative to preserve the best in this children by proposing different schemes under pragathi Patham scheme. We hope many other NGO's philanthropists and socially conscious people to come forward and help these children in their student life.

Our Plan of Action:  

Seeking long term rehabilitation for orphaned children :

Sevabharathi palamoor has approached the following organizations to take up this rehabilitation programme. All have consented to take up the responsibility of the orphaned children for their further education and brough-up.

(affiliated to Sevabharathi)

2. Vatsalya sindhu  Malkajgiri Hyderabad Boys Orphanage

(affiliated to Sevabharathi)

3. Sangamithra   Nandyal Nandyala Boys Orphanage

(affiliated t Sevabharathi)  

4. Shirisha Memorial Trust Patancheru Medak Boys Orphanage  

5. Girls Orphanage Nagarkurnool  

6. Gurudatta Mandir  Pochampahad Nizamabad Girls Orphanage  

7. Anuragini   Jadcheral   Boys Orphanage  

 

II Concept of Integrated Education for 30 Children:  

Undertaken by Malathi Memorial Trust , Shamshabad, C/o CBR hatcheries.  

30 students will be given special education in sports, skills and basic primary concepts along with education upto 10 th class.  

III Promoting the best 100 students :  

Sevabharathi intends to select 100 best students out of 275 children who scored 70% marks.  

30 students will be given hostel facility and education at Sri Saraswathi Shishu Mandir upto 10 th class.  

The rest 70 will be supported with the help of philanthraphists in different ways like

  1. Providing Rs. 1000/- as a scholarship per anum till they maintain 70%

marks.

  1. Giving Educatin fee at their laces.
  2. Providing clothing and books for their education

IV Establishing Bala Kendra at all high school centers:

For motivation and counseling and personality development camps will be conducted for all the children participated in the exam.
