. Vyasa awasam:- Asifabad 11 boys

A tribal Hostel not only hosts the Tribal Children but also imparts Sanskaras, which helps them to stand on their own. This is Vyasa Ashram of Asifabad, district Adilabad.

There are only 9 boys 5 Gonds, 4 S.Cs 4 of them little kids dancing to the morning music of the birds. Dhimsa a typical tribal dance performed on festivals is the attraction to watch with the boys. The boys of the Ashram carry with them the life values being taught here.

When they go back home for holidays they run balasanskaras kendras i.e. A programme to teach Shlokas and things of basic knowledge through playful methods. Children perform quiet well in studies The Ashram true to its name is a thatched hut with trees around and birds singing a welcome song it is located in the premises of the Sri Saraswati Sishu Mandir which give a good environment for them to grow. The Awas Pramukh or Warden is himself tribal.

The expansion of the project is planned to accommodate atleast 20 children. Presently 9 boys are housed in a hut with minimum amenities. SevaBharati has decided to strengthen the home inorder to serve more and more needy as it is most idle place for the tribal hamlets. The place is like an entry point into the dense forests of Adilabad District where Tribals in huge numbers stay.

Any contribution towards building construction or maintenance cost of Rs. 2 Lacs is most welcome.
