Ongoing Projects

Women Skill Development

Empowering women is not a difficult task, and Seva Bharathi has been doing so for several decades. We work closely with women living in slums and low-income areas who want to lead a better life. We have identified a few areas throughout Telangana where our volunteers teach skills such as maggam work, computer training, embroidery work, stitching /sewing, which has enabled dignified jobs, and 10% of the women are standing on their own.

Kaushalam Center of Excellence

Godrej Vocational Training School and Sevabharathi Telangana collaborated on this project. Kaushalam is an effort to instill life skills and self-reliance in rural youth. The first batch of trainees at Kaushalam Center for Excellence began on December 13, 2015, in Madikonda, Warangal, with 20 trainees trained for three months on servicing and repairing refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, and air conditioners.

We completed 12 batches this year, and 80 percent of the trainees were placed in Samsung, Bosch, Godrej, IFB, Videocon, Bajaj, Voltas, and LG, while the remaining 20 percent chose to work on their own or in small workshops.

Bowenpalli – Healthcare Skill Development

In appreciation of our organization’s social commitment to uplifting the housing and living conditions of slum dwellers in Hyderabad, a generous donor recently A generous donor recently donated 400 Sq. Yards of land to Seva Bharathi.

With an intent to upskilling women across all healthcare sectors, Seva Bharathi in active support of EA Sports, is constructing a skill development center with G+2 floors.

The property is in a slum locality where young women are looking for work. The project is currently under construction, and we need your help.

Nayi Disha

Due to poverty or family challenges, the young generation in India is discontinuing their education and beginning to earn as a daily laborer to make ends meet.

On the other hand, there are lakhs of open positions (10+2 as a qualifying criteria) in the armed forces, paramilitary forces, state police, and so on.

To obtain employment, proper training must be provided, and these trainings are only available in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Due to the high cost of living and the inability to meet family needs, the young generation is far from training and thus unable to find work.

Recognizing the challenges, Seva Bharathi, in collaboration with Sri Ram Consultancy, developed a curriculum for aspirants in the rural/tribal areas into the Uniformed Services at our Affection homes so that they could find an opportunity to get into these open positions in Armed forces, Paramilitary, or state police.

Without upskilling and training opportunities, none of the downtrodden families will be able to rise. This is an opportunity to contribute to our projects so that each family associated with us can live a BRIGHT life.
