Every Act of Kindness Begins with compassion: A Story from Seva Bharathi Telangana
Behind every impactful story at Seva Bharathi Telangana, the efforts of Volunteers shine.
One such story is of Shri Kommu Naresh, a hardworking lorry driver, who suffered from a severe infection which led to an emergency below-the-knee leg amputation, this was a painful and uncertain turn for his family.
His wife, who works as an aaya in a private school, suddenly found herself as the sole earner for their three children a son in 9th class, and two daughters in 6th and 1st class. She was struggling and working multiple household jobs. But, hope arrived through the silent efforts of Seva Bharathi Telangana’s volunteers.
Our volunteers work tirelessly across the neighborhoods of Telangana by listening, observing, and building connections. Through one such contact, our volunteers at the Kishori Vikas Kendram discovered a family’s story that quietly echoed the need for support, and a spark of hope.
The volunteers did what they always do “they connected the dots.”
While the world often sees the outcome it is the groundwork laid by our selfless volunteers which bring hope to such families seeking help. Our volunteers work quietly behind the scenes to ensure that no struggle goes unnoticed. They brought the family’s situation to the attention of Shri Palaparthi Ramesh Garu, the Founder Trustee of Srivatsa Nrisimha Palaparthi Morampudi Foundation (SNPMF), who helped with the artificial leg.
We salute the spirit of our volunteers for it is through their unwavering dedication that help finds its way to those who need it most.
