“Health is not just a privilege it’s a right.” This was the message at Seva Bharathi Telangana’s recent free medical camp at Jagannath Matt, an initiative filled with compassion, community, and care. The mission was to promote wellness and enable early detection of health issues. The event was organized by Seva Bharathi Telangana volunteers along with medical professionals for underserved communities.
Our volunteers handled everything at camp from registering participants to guiding them, managing queues, assisting doctors with patient screening and testing, and providing and assisting consultations until every patient is checked.
The free medical camp offered free blood tests and multi-specialty consultations, with doctors from a range of departments like Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Medicine and etc offering expert medical support. We ensured that every patient received proper care and consultation from doctors and no one was left behind. Patients were able to express their issues and get appropriate diagnosis with suggestions.
One of the highlights of the free medical camp was the health awareness session for school children. With an aim to inculcate the habit of physical activity and wellness from an early age, a lively and engaging session was held. Our volunteers at Seva Bharathi Telangana taught children simple warm-up exercises and basic health habits.
In every corner of the event, the spirit of service echoed echoed loudly and clearly. Seva Bharathi Telangana’s free medical camp initiative is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when professionals and volunteers come together for a cause greater than themselves.
