Lasya, a fifth-grade student from Kishori Vikas in Loyapally village, Ibrahimpatanam, is a shining example of how social welfare organizations can transform a child’s life.

Born without a left forearm, she never allowed her physical challenge to stop her. She helps her mother at home, manages school responsibly, and supports her family even as her elder brother requires regular insulin for diabetes. Through every struggle, Lasya has shown remarkable strength and determination.

At Kishori Vikas, run by Seva Bharathi Telangana, Lasya discovered her passion for sports. Volunteers identified her athletic talent early and encouraged her to participate in kabaddi and running competitions. She also won medals, proving that ability is greater than adversity.

Seva Bharathi Telangana, one of the most trusted NGOs in Hyderabad, connected her with the Srivasta Nrusimha Palaparthi Morampudi Foundation (SNPMF), founded by Sri Palaparthi Ramesh Garu. Through this partnership, Lasya received an artificial left-hand limb to help her manage everyday tasks and excel in sports with more confidence.

This is the impact of a strong non-profit organization in India, creating opportunities where none existed.

Many children like Lasya have talent and dreams but lack support. That’s where social welfare organizations step in. Through programs like Kishori Vikas, which runs across Telangana, Seva Bharathi Telangana identifies vulnerable children, understands their needs, and connects them to life-changing resources.

For girls like Lasya, this is more than a program. It’s a support system. A community that believes in their future.

With her new artificial limb and a supportive network behind her, Lasya is ready to explore her potential with renewed confidence. Her journey is an inspiring reminder that when people and organizations come together, real change happens.

Seva Bharathi Telangana extends heartfelt gratitude to SNPMF and Sri Palaparthi Ramesh for their generosity and support toward empowering Lasya.

Her story proves one thing clearly, ‘Every child has potential. All they need is a chance.
